Graham Denholm set to join Doughty Street Chambers

Doughty Street Chambers is delighted to announce that Graham Denholm will be joining our Immigration team from Landmark Chambers on Monday 1st March 2021.

Graham Denholm (Call: 2001) is recognised as a leading junior barrister in the fields of immigration, civil liberties and human rights. His practice encompasses all areas of immigration work and related public law challenges in the higher courts and statutory Tribunals, as well as civil actions against the Home Office and other public authorities in the High Court and County Court. He is particularly well known for his work in immigration detention, having co-authored the leading textbook on the topic, Detention under the Immigration Acts: Law and Practice (OUP, 2015).

Graham is ranked in three fields in Chambers and Partners 2021, including at Band 1 in immigration. He is described as “a standout junior”, “good with clients”, “extremely knowledgeable, tactical and client-focused,” and as having “unsurpassed” knowledge of false imprisonment.
