High Court hears challenge to bulk dataset regime

Adam Straw QC represents the claimant, as special advocate, in this judicial review challenge to a decision of the Investigatory Powers Tribunal that, on the hypothesis that there has been sharing by GCHQ of bulk datasets of sensitive information about the general population with foreign agencies, it was compatible with the European Convention of Human Rights. Adam is instructed by the Special Advocates Support Unit, and acts with Angus McCullough QC.
