Hungary v MC

On 16 March 2021, District Judge Callaway discharged MC from a European Arrest Warrant issued by Hungary on the basis that her extradition would amount to a disproportionate interference with her human rights and those of her children. Of particular relevance was the history of repeated extradition request, domestic abuse between the requested person and her former partner and the impact of her extradition on her children. The Judicial Authority did not appeal.  The Judge granted the application to anonymize the case.
