Joe Stone QC secures murder acquittal

Joe Stone QC secured a murder acquittal (R v RC) in one of the first Covid 19 jury trials under the new protocol. The male defendant was alleged to have strangled another man to death in his own home. Joe managed to exclude evidence of two previous strangulations on female complainants. Leading forensic pathologists and blood pattern analysis (BPA) experts were called at trial to undermine the prosecution case and support the defence.
