Judicial review of government policy on road safety for the visually impaired
On 17 January 2023 the High Court will hear a judicial review of the Secretary of State’s guidance about kerb heights. In R (Leadbetter) v. Secretary of State for Transport the court will hear evidence that minimum kerb heights are dangerous for visually impaired people who cannot detect low kerbs.
