Liam Walker KC represents defendant acquitted of murder
Following a 9 week trial DH, represented by Liam Walker KC and Patrick Maggs, was acquitted of murder.
DH had been accused with 3 others of being part of a joint enterprise to murder a male in Telford in October 2020.
The deceased was shot multiple times at close range. The prosecution alleged that the deceased had been murdered by DH and others following a ‘meticulously planned’ execution.
The prosecution relied upon extensive phone records and social media evidence as part of their case. Liam and Patrick were able to use the prosecution’s own evidence to argue that other more compelling inferences existed that pointed away from DH’s guilt.
