Louise Willocx secures acquittal for possession of a bladed article in the Youth Court

Louise Willocx represented a 15-year-old child who had experienced significant trauma and grew up in the care system.

Her client had been recorded on CCTV pulling a bladed article to a delivery driver and was arrested promptly after.

Louise made extensive legal submissions on the evidence and the burden of proof. As a result, she successfully argued that the Crown had failed to make the magistrates sure that he was guilty of an offence.
