Mark Henderson wins UK Disability Advocacy Leader of the Year award at Legal Benchmarking Group's Social Impact EMEA Awards 2024
Doughty Street Chambers is delighted to announce that Mark Henderson is the winner of the Disability Advocacy Leader of the Year – UK award at the Legal Benchmarking Group's Social Impact EMEA Awards 2024. Mark was up against nominees from across the legal profession, including leading city firms.
Announcing Mark’s win on stage at The Waldorf Hotel in London, the ceremony was told that: “The judging panel were particularly impressed by Mark Henderson's extensive efforts to promote and campaign for disability rights and access across the legal profession and justice system. His leadership in improving the accessibility of Doughty Street Chambers, his advocacy through the Spinal Injuries Association, and his intersectional work with ParaPride and the Bar Council's Disability Panel underscore his profound impact on advancing disability inclusion and rights.”
