New inquests into Stardust tragedy

The Attorney General of Ireland has ordered fresh inquests into the fire at the Stardust nightclub in Dublin in 1981, where 48 young people died and 214 were injured.

His decision was made in response to an application made by victims of the families of the deceased.

Adam Straw represents the 48 families, instructed by Darragh Mackin of Phoenix Law.

The story has received widespread coverage in the media, including on the BBC and in The Independent.
