Rebecca Trowler QC appointed a Senior Circuit Judge to sit at the Old Bailey
Doughty Street Chambers is delighted to announce that Rebecca Trowler QC has been appointed a Senior Circuit Judge to sit at the Old Bailey.
Rebecca has been a stalwart and much-loved member of Doughty Street for over two decades. She has appeared in some of the most complex and sensitive criminal cases, while sitting as a Crown Court Recorder and Deputy Judge of the Upper Tribunal. She has at various points chaired Doughty Street’s Management Board and jointly led the crime team.
While her departure is a huge loss to Chambers, it is a massive gain for the judiciary.
