Sean Summerfield secures not guilty verdict in million-pound fraud

Sean’s client was charged with fraudulently processing transactions for gold bullion as part of a fraud valued in excess of £1.3 million.

It was alleged that Sean’s client and his co-defendant used their jewellery business as a conduit for the buying of gold bullion using funds stolen from various unsuspecting victims, and that they profited by allowing others to launder their money through these purchases.

Sean’s client was unanimously acquitted by the jury following a 12 day trial at Inner London Crown Court.

Sean Summerfield was instructed by Robert Dynowski of Edwards Duthie Shamash Solicitors.
