Shanthi Sivakumaran joins Doughty Street Chambers

Doughty Street Chambers is delighted to announce that Shanthi Sivakumaran has joined our Inquests and Public Inquiries team from No5 Chambers.

Shanthi Sivakumaran (2015 call) has a broad public law practice and is currently instructed as Junior Counsel to Grenfell Tower Inquiry. Her background in immigration and asylum law complements her public law work. Shanthi is also regularly instructed to advise on the application of universal jurisdiction principles for organisations seeking accountability for international war crimes.
