UK suspends weapons exports to Israel
Al-Haq and the Global Legal Action Network brought a judicial review challenging the UK government’s decision to licence weapons exports to Israel. A hearing was listed for 8-10 October 2024. On 2 September 2024 the Foreign Secretary announced to Parliament that the UK has suspended licences for all of those weapons which might be used militarily in the current conflict in Gaza.
