Paras Gorasia represented Stephen Eyres in his claim for Unfair Dismissal and Unlawful Deduction from Wages heard before Manchester Employment Tribunal. After a convoluted path to the final determination of his claims (including a trip to the EAT on the question of the correct employer – Stephen Eyres v Air Vane Compressors Ltd UKEAT/0347/16), Mr Eyres was successful in all of his claims and Judgment given for the sum of £122,260, comprising of the following:

£11,400 basic award

£78,335 compensatory award (Statutory Cap)

£32,575 unlawful deduction from wages
