Violet Smart secures acquittal of man accused of sexual assault

IK stood trial at St. Alban’s Crown Court on a single count indictment alleging sexual assault. He contended that any touching had been accidental.

 

Following a 2 day trial, the jury unanimously acquitted IK in just over an hour. He was of good character, and the allegation dated back to March 2022.
