Zia Nabi and Daniel Clarke will present Doughty Street’s annual review of developments in homelessness law and the implications for those assisting homeless applicants.

Developments include the Supreme Court’s decision on welfare benefits and affordability in Samuels v Birmingham CC; various cases in the Court of Appeal, in relation to reasonableness of continued occupation (Safi v Sandwell BC), suitability of accommodation (Alibkhiet v Brent LBC, Kannan v Newham LBC), intentional homelessness (Godson v Enfield LBC) and discrimination (Adesotu v Lewisham LBC); as well as a round-up of cases of interest in the High Court and County Court.
