Immigration detention and human rights

This webinar will examine recent developments in immigration detention case law, focusing specifically on human rights issues arising both during detention and after it. The session will involve discussion of practical litigation strategies in relation to these points. Particular topics will include:
- Human rights in detention: the panel will discuss approaches to cases involving trafficking, vulnerabilities and adjustments.
- Post-detention conditions: the panel will look at recent cases like Almas and ADL and will discuss where case law might be headed.
This webinar is aimed at solicitors, NGOs and other bodies supporting those who have been or may be detained under immigration powers.
