A Whistleblowers Tale: The Employment/Media Issues in Rafiq v YCCC

This webinar will look at the recent high-profile victory obtained by members of Doughty Street’s Employment and Media teams in Azeem Rafiq’s claim against Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
Join Paras Gorasia, Jennifer Robinson, Margherita Cornaglia and Azeem Rafiq as they give an overview of his claim against YCCC and consider some of the interesting Employment and Media issues that arose through the case. Finally, Azeem himself will talk about his case, his motivations for bringing his concerns to the attention of the Tribunal and Media at large and his hopes for the future.
The talk will be of particular interest to practitioners involved in Employment, Discrimination, Media and Sports Disputes, as well as individuals interested in the case generally.
