Abigail Bright gives evidence to Parliament on Forensic Science Provision in Criminal Justice System

Abigail Bright gave evidence yesterday to a Select Committee of the House of Lords.  The Science and Technology Committee is inquiring into the role of forensic science within the Criminal Justice System, in particular whether adequate provision is made for it, the level of understanding of forensic science in criminal proceedings and what can be done to improve that, and regulatory issues.

Abigail appeared as an elected representative of the Criminal Bar Association, and she also sits on the Home Office Forensic Science Advisory Council.
