Benjamin Newton secured the acquittal of a 68 year old man of good character accused of historic sexual offences

Benjamin Newton and his instructing solicitor Laura O’Brien of Hodge Jones and Allen today secured the acquittal of JRM, a 68 year old man of good character accused of historic sexual offences against two separate complainants in the 1970s. After a seven-day trial at Snaresbrook Crown Court JRM was acquitted of all ten counts and remains with his family who anxiously supported him throughout the trial.
