Beth Grossman named The Times Lawyer of the Week

Doughty Street Chambers is delighted to congratulate Beth Grossman for being named The Times Lawyer of the Week.

Beth was named Lawyer of the Week for her successful defence of Naomi Parry in a High Court claim brought by Amy Winehouse’s father, Mitch Winehouse, concerning the sale of a number of the late singer’s personal belongings, including the dress worn at her final concert before her death in 2011. Beth Grossman specialises in media, commercial, employment and related areas of public and regulatory law. She is a rising star in media law with notable expertise in discrimination law - rightly recognised by legal directories and legal sector media. She has been involved in numerous cases concerning public figures and hotly contested political issues. Her clients include traditional media outlets, high net worth individuals, trades unions  NGOs and FTSE-listed companies.  In the last year she appeared in numerous High Court trials and applications and in the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, both as sole counsel and as led junior.
