David Hislop QC's client, Kaleel Nyeila, found not guilty of murder

David Hislop QC's client, Kaleel Nyeila, was found not guilty today of murder at the Old Baliey. The Prosecution alleged that he was one of four who hunted their victim down on mopeds, deep in opposition gang territory and fatally attacked him with a machete and knives. The Prosecution case was having carried out the attack Nyeila wrote a confessional rap. The defence case was Nyeila was not a participant, was not present and was merely an aspiring drill music artist.
