Extradition to serve 5 year sentence quashed by High Court

Mr Justice Saini has quashed a district judge's decision ordering extradition to Spain to serve a 5 year sentence for offences of dishonesty. 

Saini J found that the district judge had failed properly to take into account the requested person's mental health condition, including the risk of deterioration and suicide. Saini J was further critical of the provision of mental health treatment in Spanish prisons.
