Families of hostages in the UK on a high-level delegation

Four families of Hamas hostages who are British or have strong British connectionstook part in a high-level delegation to London from 5-7 February. The families represent four hostages who are currently held in Gaza: Eli Sharabi, Nadav Popplewell, Oded Lifschitz and another British hostage. 

The families:

- Were hosted by the Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, at No. 10 Downing Street along with Lord Ahmad, Minister of State for the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office;

- Met at the Embassy of Qatar with with Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, the Minister of State for Qatar in the Foreign Ministry, who is a central figure in the current negotiations between Israel and Hamas;

- Met His Excellency Charles Hay MVO, Director Gaza Hostages at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
