Helena Kennedy QC and Zimran Samuel to speak at AJCONF 2019

The conference celebrates the vision and legacy of Asma Jahangir (1952-2018), an internationally acclaimed rights activist and constitutional lawyer of Pakistan.

It is hosted by AGHS Legal Aid Cell (Asma’s law firm) and is being held in collaboration with the Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan.

The conference will discuss and devise strategies for the promotion of justice by strengthening the rule of law and democracy, protection of fundamental rights, strengthening the independence of the judiciary and mainstreaming gender.

It will be held on the 19th and 20th of October 2019 at the Avari Hotel in Lahore.
