Maryam Mir secures acquittal of extinction rebellion protesters by Magistrates’ Court

Ben Burrage and 4 others “glued” their hands to the floor of City Airport DLR in London in protest to raise awareness about climate change.

They were to be tried over two days on charges of aggravated trespass. The District Judge dismissed the criminal charge against all five defendants following legal submissions made by Maryam Mir at the outset of the trial.
