Paul Harris SC successfully argues that a law in which seizes banner displays at demonstrations was void

Paul Harris SC, representing Falun Gong practitioners Hung Shui Fung and Pun Lin Fa against the Hong Kong Government in the Hong Kong High Court, successfully argued that a law under which banners displayed at a demonstration had been seized for being displayed without prior approval was void for breaching the constitutional requirement that restrictions on free speech have to be "prescribed by law", as the law was too uncertain in its requirements.
