Sarah Elliott QC secures acquittals for a man accused of child sexual assault

Sarah Elliott QC has secured swift acquittals for a man accused of sexually assaulting his children when he was captured on CCTV checking his young child for a rash on her bottom. The trial process, utilising the section 28 pre-recorded cross-examination procedure took 6 months from allegation to acquittals, during which time the father, a member of the Haredi Jewish community, was unable to see his children.
