Shu Shin Luh awarded Human Rights and Public Law Junior of the Year at Chambers UK Bar Awards 2021

Doughty Street Chambers is delighted to announce that Shu Shin Luh has been awarded Human Rights and Public Law Junior of the Year  at Chambers UK Bar Awards 2021.

Shu Shin Luh represented claimants in the successful challenge to the Home Secretary’s decision to use Napier Barracks to accommodate destitute asylum seeking men. The High Court’s damning judgment deemed the decision was unlawful and irrational, with arrangements and conditions that fundamentally posed significant risks to physical and mental health.
