UN Considers Iran’s Targeting of Journalists

On Thursday 24 November 2022 the United Nations Human Rights Council held a Special Session to address “the deteriorating human rights situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

During this Special Session Behrang Tajdin, a journalist from BBC News Persian, addressed the Human Rights Council on behalf of the International Federation of Journalists, representing all journalists reporting on Iran, both inside and outside Iran.
