Undercover Policing Inquiry Publishes its Tranche 1 Report

Sir John Mitting has concluded that the deployment of police officers into left wing organisations in the 1970s relying on the identities of deceased children was a means that did not justify its ends, and the unit should have been “brought to a rapid end”.
