Doughty Street has some of the most experienced appellate practitioners at the Bar. Paul Taylor QC alongside Emma GoodallFarrhat Arshad and the rest of his team are involved in appellate cases, at all levels and have appeared in some of the most important appeals and miscarriages of justice cases over the last 25 years including the Birmingham six, Myra Hindley, Ahluwhalia, the Guildford four, Rowe (in Davies, Johnson and Rowe), the “Karl Bridgewater” murder, the Cardiff three, Venables and Thompson, Sarah Thornton, Michael Stone, Derek Bentley, Harry Mackenney and Bruce Childs and Ken Erskine (“The Stockwell Strangler”).

The seminar is ‘a must’ for criminal practitioners of all levels and the Doughty Street team will cover the following:

The seminar is free of charge to Lawshare member firms and their employees. It will be held at JMW’s Spinningfields office 1 Byrom Place Spinningfields Manchester M3 3HG. Places will be limited so please book asap. Registration will take place between 1600-1615 and the seminar will carry 1.5 hours CPD.
