Doughty Street Chambers’ Immigration Team are delighted to invite you to their webinar on Differentiation: Group 1 and Group 2 refugees, the law and practice tips.
This webinar will cover important changes introduced by the Nationality and Borders Act 2022 concerning grants of leave to refugees. In particular it will cover the law and policy with respect to ‘Group 1 and Group 2’ refugees and what being a Group 2 refugee means for clients. It will also address procedure and practice tips for ensuring your clients do not get caught out by these changes, how to respond to Group 2 indication letters, evidence, and the potential for challenging Group 2 and ‘temporary refugee protection’ decisions.
