The Covid-19 pandemic has seen increasing numbers of employers trying to vary the contracts of employment of their employees to reduce terms and conditions including through the use of the controversial tactic of ‘fire and rehire’. 

This webinar will look at the law relating to the variation of the contract of employment including the rights of employees, possible unfair dismissal claims and whether there is any way in law to resist the ‘fire and rehire’ tactic.
