Law and Protest as an Agent of Change

Peter Tatchell will talk about his experience of over 50 years of using protest as an agent for political and social change supported by three members of Doughty Street who will speak about different aspects of the law surrounding protest. Katrina Walcott will speak about the BLM protests and comparative policing methods, Abigail Bright about committal to prison and Habeus Corpus in protest cases, and Rabah Kherbane about the relationship between the conduct of criminal trials, protest action and social change.
