In the public interest: whistleblowing in employment and the media

Join members of our Media and Employment teams on Monday 12th July for an interactive webinar discussing whistleblowing in employment and the media.

Heather Rogers QCJonathan PriceParas Gorasia and Beth Grossman will explore the legal landscape around whistleblowing in the public interest. They will discuss the principles applying to employees, who disclose information to the media, and the approach when the media want to publish their disclosures. This talk will consider recent decisions in employment and in media cases around "public interest" and take-home points for practitioners working in the media, employment and corporate spheres.

Following each of the presentations, there will be time for a Q&A. The event will run for approximately an hour.

Zoom joining details are available via your ticket and will be sent on the day at the following times: 9am, 2pm and 10 minutes before the event.


There will be live auto-transcription enabled throughout this event and it will be recorded. All guests will have their cameras and microphones turned off automatically for this event. Exclusionary language will not be accepted.
