Court of Protection Team gives evidence to Parliament on Mental Capacity Amendment Bill

Our Mental Health and Court of Protection Team has provided evidence to Parliament's Public Bill Committee set up to review the Mental Capacity Amendment Bill.

The evidence, provided in a document prepared by specialists Aswini Weereratne QC, Oliver Lewis, Sophy Miles and Zia Nabi, looked in particular at the Liberty Protection Safeguards put forward in the Bill.
