“The biggest miscarriage of justice in modern legal history”: Closing statements for wrongly convicted postmasters in the Post Office Horizon Inquiry

Public hearings in the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry end today (17 December 2024).

Tim Moloney KC and Angela Patrick represent over 60 postmasters who were convicted and have had their convictions overturned. They are instructed by Hudgell Solicitors.

The Inquiry has been ongoing since 2021 and has heard many hours of witness evidence, received 780 witness statements and millions of pages of disclosure.

Members of Doughty Street Chambers also acted in the successful criminal appeals which preceded the Inquiry (Kate O’Raghallaigh and Graeme L. Hall) and act in civil claims pursued by those wrongly convicted (Nick Brown). All are led by Tim Moloney KC.
