The Legal 500 awards "Crime Set of the Year" to Doughty Street Chambers

We're delighted and honoured to learn that our Criminal Law and Appeals Team has won the "Crime Set of the Year" category in The Legal 500 Awards 2019.  The Awards will be distributed at a ceremony in the Guildhall on 6th February.

Awards are made to sets and barristers on the basis of the positive feedback received by The Legal 500's researchers.  We are therefore hugely grateful to those clients who have shared with The Legal 500 their positive experiences of working with members of our crime team.

As well as winning the Crime Set of the Year award, we were also fortunate enough to receive a range of other nominations, with both Joel Bennathan QC and Tim Moloney QC being shortlisted for Crime Silk of the Year, and Piers Marquis being shortlisted for Crime Junior of the Year.  

Our Public Law team were also shortlisted for Public Law Set of the Year, and Jude Bunting was shortlisted for Public Law Junior of the Year.
