Public hearings in Module 3 of the UK Covid-19 Public Inquiry completed on Thursday 28 November 2024, with closing statements delivered by core participants. The evidence spanned 10 weeks of public hearings.

Module 3 has considered the governmental and societal response to Covid-19 as well as dissecting the impact that the pandemic had on healthcare systems, patients and healthcare workers.
The module has received evidence from impact witnesses including bereaved family members, Long Covid sufferers, healthcare workers including outsourced and migrant workers, people with disabilities, clinically vulnerable people, and people who gave birth during the pandemic.
